Sabres of Yesterday | Hockey Diversity Panel Part Two
It’s just that you worked all season long with these guys to get to the ultimate goal and all of the sudden they’re like, ‘okay, now you’ve got to go up to Buffalo and sit in case somebody gets hurt. That was really disappointing for me that year. But yeah, definitely great memories from Western New York.

Building the Sabres: 2020 offseason projection 2.0
Just like last time, I’ll go through re-signing restricted free agents, the draft, trades, and unrestricted free agency to put together a roster that could be competitive next season. I did my best to be reasonable in trades and used Evolving Hockey’s contract projections as the guide to give new contracts. Remember, this is just for fun and to spark some discussion.

On his last day on the Sabres' payroll, memories of GM Tim Murray
On social media, he became known simply as GMTM. For a little more than three crazy years, he was the general manager of the Buffalo Sabres. And much like Jason Botterill, Tim Murray was shown the door by Terry and Kim Pegula when he never expected it.

After selection to Hall, Jarome Iginla says he understands Jack Eichel's frustration
Iginla made his NHL debut for the Calgary Flames during the 1996 playoffs, appearing in two games against Chicago. He then played his first seven NHL seasons without getting back to the postseason, so he can relate to Eichel's five-season drought since joining the Sabres in 2015. "It's frustrating.
