Out to halt road skid, Wild not overlooking lowly Coyotes
Looking to remain in playoff position in the Western Conference, the Minnesota Wild need to end their road rut upon returning from the All-Star break. Considering how well they've fared against the Arizona Coyotes of late, a visit to Tempe, Ariz., on Monday night might help the cause. Minnesotaentered the break third in the Central Division, but with little room for error to stay within the top eight teams in the West. The Wild have won their last two contests, each by 3-2 counts, against Philadelphia and Buffalo -- both at home, in overtime and via shootout, respectively.

Coyotes' Clayton Keller scores 3 times in 2023 NHL All-Star Game
Arizona Coyotes forward Clayton Keller had himself a productive Saturday afternoon in the 2023 NHL All-Star Game. Keller contributed three goals and an assist to the Central Division's run to the final, where it fell to the Atlantic Division. In the event that features four teams in a small tournament bracket, Keller had two goals and an assist in the Central Division's semifinal 6-4 victory against the Pacific Division. The 3-on-3 format offers plenty of open ice, so Tarasenko was able to find defenseman Seth Jones alone on the right, which set up Keller to sneak in back door for the easy tap-in off a smooth pass by Jones.

Coyotes' Moser Can Be Franchise's Next Star Defenseman
With the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline just weeks away the Arizona Coyotes are preparing themselves for the possibility of life without their top two defensemen: Jakob Chychrun and Shayne Gostisbehere. With an impending lack of defensive talent in the team's pipeline come March, the Coyotes will be turning to their 2021 second-round pick J.J. Moser to become the team's next franchise defenseman. Already logging top-four minutes on a nightly basis for the Coyotes, Moser has the potential to follow in the footsteps of former Coyotes defensive greats. Names such as Teppo Numminen, Keith Yandle, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, and Jakob Chychrun have all at one point in time dawned a Coyotes sweater.
