Local Graphic Designer Brings Preds Black History Month Jerseys to Life
For inspiration, Jackson drew upon the designs of traditional Kente cloth, a fabric originating from the Ewe and Ashanti tribes of Ghana, West Africa. Originally worn by royalty and during special occasions, Kente weaves intricate patterns and bright colors together to tell a unique story. When designing the Preds' Kente jersey, Jackson wanted to tell the story of the team and the city they call home. The interwoven mosaic maze pattern, or "zig-zag," traditionally represents overcoming obstacles - a design choice fitting for both the city and its team.

Saros, Hellebuyck win Tendy Tandem at 2023 NHL All-Star Skills
The goalies, who teamed up to represent the Central Division in the Discover NHL Tendy Tandem at the 2023 NHL All-Star Skills presented by DraftKings Sportsbook on Friday, were trying to be deferential to other's wishes by not declaring who was going to be the shooter and who would play in goal for the competition. Finally, Saros, the Nashville Predators goalie, told his Winnipeg Jets counterpart, "I would prefer to shoot." Saros and Hellebuyck won the debut of the Tendy Tandem with 13 points, best among the four pairs of goalies.

Zachary L'Heureux lost a chance to compete for a spot with the Nashville Predators this season because of offseason sports hernia surgery, but it could end up being the best thing for his NHL future. Eeli Tolvanen thriving with Kraken after being cast out in Nashville
A change of scenery from Nashville to Seattle has seemingly unlocked the potential of Kraken left winger Eeli Tolvanen. Post-All Star Game Questions the Preds Need Answered
The Predators have roughly $42.5 million tied up in Filip Forsberg, Matt Duchene, Ryan Johansen, Mikael Granlund, Roman Josi and Nino Niederreiter. It's hard to find too much fault with Forsberg and Josi — both of whom have 41 points in 48 games.

They Said It: Juuse Saros, In His Teammates' Words
As eager as Saros is to divert the credit for his success this season toward his teammates, they are even more eager to heap well-deserved praise on their goaltender. "He's naturally really talented and athletic, and I think goaltending is really natural for him," said fellow Finnish netminder Kevin Lankinen. Saros' athletic ability and goaltending prowess are what earned him his second career All-Star nod, but the intangible components of his game are even more indicative of his star quality as an NHL goaltender. "You can see it when we play," defenseman Mattias Ekholm said.

Devils frustrated after 'disappointing' loss to Predators: 'We didn't deserve to win that game'

Devils weak defensively in 6-4 loss to Predators
After witnessing another sloppy Devils performance against Nashville on Thursday, one of the first things coach Lindy Ruff spoke about in his postgame press conference was his desire to “move on to the next game. Can you blame him? In front of a sold out Bridgestone Arena Thursday night, Ruff watched the Predators generate countless odd-man rushes and easy breakaway chances against his second-place squad in a 6-4 defeat that was riddled with defensive breakdowns.
