Stastney, 24 (1/4/00), played in a career-high 20 NHL games for the Predators in 2023-24, recording four points (2g-2a) and a +9 rating, the third-highest among team blueliners. Looking Back on Tom Fitzgerald's Nashville Predators Tenure
The Nashville Predators began their play in the NHL during the 1998-99 season. One of the biggest leaders added to the group in the first season came from winger Tom Fitzgerald. St. Louis Blues sign 39-year-old defenseman Ryan Suter to 1-year deal
The St. Louis Blues have signed veteran defenseman Ryan Suter to a one-year contract. General manager Doug Armstrong announced the signing on Thursday, saying the 39-year-old who has spent the past three seasons in Dallas will make a base salary of $775,000. Former NHL player's family says he had CTE when he died by suicide

Greg Johnson suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) when he died by suicide five years ago, his family announced on Wednesday. The 12-year NHL veteran died by suicide on July 7, 2019, by a gunshot, 13 years after his final NHL game. Johnson's brain was analyzed by Dr. Ann McKee of the Boston University CTE Center.
