Kraken Defeat Oilers 6-1; Set Franchise Record For Most Goals Scored In A Period At Home
Seattle, WA - The Seattle Kraken delivered a commanding performance to kick off their final March homestand with a resounding 6-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers. The victory not only prevented the Oilers from sweeping the season series but also set a franchise record for the most goals scored in a single period at home. This marks the third time the team has scored five goals in a period, joining similar feats on January 14, 2023, against Chicago, and November 29, 2022, against Los Angeles.

How an enterprising Kraken fan earned special swag from Joey Daccord
A night out at the rink needs a game-worn, or at least pregame-worn, souvenir. Now it's escalated to asking for a stick, either through services already rendered — it being their first Kraken game, or having traveled a long distance to be there — or maybe a challenge, like a game of rock, paper scissors. During Thursday's morning skate, a fan offered Kraken goaltender Joey Daccord a LEGO Speed Champions Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1 Race Car Model Kit, which retails for about $30. The KCI fan did their research and added to Daccord's collection.
