Flames' faith in playoff push still strong after 5-2 loss to Stars
The Calgary Flames intend to replicate the effort, but not the result. Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Dallas Stars belied the score as the Flames launched over 106 shot attempts, produced more high-danger chances and had two goals disallowed. Casey DeSmith's 46 saves and 32 blocked shots by Dallas contained Calgary's barrage. “Certainly feel we got robbed tonight,” said Flames centre Nazem Kadri, who scored twice.

Winnipeg Jets next task holding first place in final 10 games
Alex Iafallo kept his words per minute down to a minimum, but he certainly got his point across just as effectively. The Winnipeg Jets winger had just been asked a question about what the focus of the final 10 games of the regular season was going to be and he kept his answer concise. “Just keep our aggressiveness, don't change a thing,” said Iafallo. The Jets certainly did a lot of things well during Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win and they'll be looking to try and carry that over into Friday's matchup with the New Jersey Devils.
